One user shared their unexpected experience of becoming pregnant while on semaglutide, a medication classically used for treatment of certain conditions. After trying for a long time, the couple had decided to take a break from attempts of conception to focus on themselves. However, realising a week-long delay in her menstrual cycle, the user conducted a pregnancy test, which turned out positive, stirring mixed feelings of excitement and anxiety.
Crafting a platform that encourages a high standard of interactive community experience is the goal, with respect for the freedom of individuals to express their thoughts and views. This is permissible, provided it respects others within the community and follows the terms of use set by What to Expect.
In case of content that violates these guidelines, a removal request can be submitted, and the moderating team will respond shortly. There are options to escalate a post to the WTE moderators for specific reasons.

The community features Group Leaders, selected by staff members, who play a role in maintaining positivity and support within the group. They communicate with staff moderators about potential guideline violations but do not moderate discussions themselves. These leaders don’t have a specific online presence schedule.
Group Owners make many contributions into the community. Notably, they initiate the formation of groups for members to share their journey through various stages of pregnancy and parenting. These owners also ensure the values of the brand are upheld by reporting content that breaches the community rules. They promote respect, kindness, open-mindedness, careful sharing of personal details, and the fostering of a friendly and supportive environment. Furthermore, they actively remove fake accounts, spam, misinformation and any posts infringing on community rules.
